Pinewood Derby Car-

Andrew wanted FLAMES on the car so I painted them on for him. I thought he would want it more like "Lightning McQueen" From Cars, nope this is what he wanted.....

So I asked him what number he wanted his car to be and he wanted 10..... so there you go. We got glossy paint to make the car shiny. Hoping it will go faster or something. The gloss didn't get along with the black marker and it ran a little. Oh well. Looking at the web sites for the pinewood derby cars I think its more of a hobby for the "dad's" to see how fast they can go more than a project for the kids. Andrew sanded, painted, picked out what he wanted it to look like and put gloss on it.... Not to shabby......a few more adjustments and putting the wheels on and we are good to race... Hopefully its the right weight.
